About the Role

As the Public Relations Specialist at Alight, you will report to the Senior Manager of Public Relations and oversee PR objectives. Your role involves collaborating with Marketing and Product teams to execute external communications. This will include media relations, product launches, thought leadership, analyst relations, and executive visibility.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing comprehensive PR strategies to promote products/services, and key initiatives.

• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and influencers to secure media coverage and positive press.

• Writing press releases, pitches, and other materials to communicate key announcements to the media and the public.

• Monitoring media coverage and industry trends, and provide regular reports and analysis to internal stakeholders.

• Planning and coordinating media campaigns, product launches and other promotional activities.

• Staying abreast of emerging PR tools and techniques, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance our PR efforts.

• Partnering with digital marketing to align social media content and messaging with the broader PR strategy

• Partnering with communications and marketing to ensure communications are consistent and coordinated across key constituents

• Collaborating with agency partners to drive measurable PR results

Requirements

• 3-5 years public relations experience in a corporate or agency setting with an emphasis on media relations

• Experience with SaaS and/or HR technology companies a plus

• Track record of achieving media results across top-tier and trade media (i.e., HR/benefits, healthcare, financial, and technology)

• Have constant knowledge of the news cycle and media trends that create opportunities to generate headlines

• Be able to write and edit with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages

• Time management skills with the ability to execute programs with speed, accuracy, and efficiency

• Be a motivated, self-starter with a desire to work entrepreneurially

• Have a team-oriented spirit with a sense of commitment to colleagues and internal clients

• Be able to travel occasionally and work outside of standard office hours as needed

• Experience in MS Office and PR software/tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater, Monday.com) is a plus.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

52,500 USD

Maximum :

83,300 USD
