The listing for the top Sugar Free Recipes of the Year (2024)

I have had so many people ask for a list of The Top 10 Sugar Free Recipes of the Year, that I thought I would oblige.
This is partly because last year was certainly a popular one for sugar free eating.

The Top 10 Sugar Free Recipes of the Year

It really is hard to choose favorites sometimes.
Having to choose a favorite among many that I love always reminds me of having to choose a favorite child. However, as any mom knows, you love every child for who they are and not necessarily for being a favorite.

Thus, I am choosing my top 10 sugar free recipes upon a quantitative method rather than choosing favorites.
By quantitative, I mean the most viewed recipes. However, we all know that some recipes have had a head start on getting the views as they have been posted here longer. But, in my opinion, many of the 'yummier' recipes came later in the year as these were recipes that had to do with the holiday season.

As a result, no recipe is perfect.
They are all simply loved for what they are. Kind of like children.

#1.

Stevia Cream Cheese Frosting

When I posted this, I had no idea that it would receive over 100,000 social shares as well as visits.
In this recipe I experimented by using Greek Yogurt.I was on a Greek Yogurt kick trying it out as an ingredient wherever I could. This frosting is no exception.

The sugar alternative of choice in this recipe is Stevia.

#2.FABULOUS Sugar Free Fudge

This is one of those recipes that I shared a while back. It got okay traffic and then it seemed as if everyone just kind of moved on to the next recipe out there. Then when everyone got into the holiday baking thing, the popularity of this recipe really boomed. Being that I enjoy a piece of fudge, whenever I can get one.. I can understand why people seem to like it so much.

#3. Sugar Free Buttercream Icing

I like icing on my cupcakes and cakes, just like many other people do. However, I sometimes have a hesitation about adding anything extra that contains the word "butter" in it. You know, "buttermilk"... "buttercream". But, there are some times when you have to have a butter-based icing ons something so, why not make it sugar free?

#4. Low Carb Copycat Red Lobster Biscuits

Technically, this is a sugar free recipe.
However, I am pretty sure that it is popular because it is also low carb. I was at Red Lobster with my body-building low carb son when I got the inspiration for these. The biscuits actually tasted better than the original- in my opinion.

#5.How to Make Sugar Free Pound Cake

This was actually a recipe that I updated.
I updated this recipe because there were a few readers who had difficulties with the the recipe as given. While this recipe for pound cake is still popular, you can also find the updated recipe here. The updated recipe is a more basic and easier to make pound cake. Yay for easy 🙂

#6.Sugar Free Cocoa Muffins

Chocolate muffins for breakfast?
Count me in. I am not the only person saying this either by the looks of how popular this recipe is.

#7.Sugar Free Glaze Recipe for Baked Goods

Even when I was enjoying my sugar, I must say that there was one sugar-thing that disgusted me. That would be the sugary glaze that folks put on top of their donuts (doughnuts?) etc. Even for me, well now as an adult, especially me, that is just way too much sugar to take in with one bite. Thus, we have a sugar free hack for that.

#8.Sugar Free Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

This is the chocolate version of that popular buttercream icing recipe above. After all, sometimes you just gotta have the chocolate icing right?

#9.The Best Sugar Free Chocolate Chip Cookies

To be honest, how can anyone choose the best chocolate chip cookie?
I choose to make them all. And thus, try them all. Yum!

#10.How to Make Sugar Free Powdered Sugar

This is just a basic recipe that I refer to in so many of my recipes. I am just so glad that there is a workaround for powdered sugar.
